“Hey, bunny, where are you going?” asked the fox.
“I am going for my work. You know, I am a carpenter,” said the rabbit.
“Will you be able to repair my broken chair?” asked the fox.
“Of course, let me see your chair,” said the rabbit.
The fox took the rabbit to its home. When they entered the house, the fox shut the door. The bunny was alarmed.
“Hey, why did you shut the door?” asked the rabbit.
“I shut the door so that you can’t go out of this house. There is no broken chair here. I am going to eat you,” said the fox. The fox then went to invite his friends to eat the rabbit meat.
The poor rabbit had no idea what to do. “Hey, there, what are you doing here? Is that villain fox trapped you?” It was a rat that lived in that house.
“Yes, Mr. Rat. That fox told me he had a broken chair to repair, and took me here. He went out to invite his friends to eat me,” the rabbit said crying.
“Hey, rabbit. You are a carpenter, and you have all the tools with you. Why don’t you help yourself to get out of this house and escape?” asked the rat.
“Yes, you are right! I am a carpenter, and I have all the tools in my bag. Why should I worry?” the rabbit said to himself.
With his hammer, he thrashed the lock. It was very easy for the carpenter rabbit to open the door. The rabbit ran as fast as he could. A few hours later, when the fox came with his friends, he found the front door wide open.
“Oh, God, that silly rabbit escaped,” he told his friends. His friends became angry with him and left the place cursing the fox.
