The Lucky Day Of The Bear

A bear was wandering through the countryside, going from house to house to see if he could find an unlocked door. To his delight, he found one wide open and slipped inside.

"Wow, today must be my lucky day!" the bear thought.

Inside, he discovered a feast waiting for him—fresh milk, warm bread, and a big jar of sweet honey. After eating his fill, feeling full and content, he curled up inside the house and fell fast asleep.

By afternoon, the house dog made a startling discovery: a full-grown bear was asleep right in the middle of the room! The dog cursed himself for not being outside to guard the entrance. Instinct taking over, he began to bark fiercely.

The loud noise startled the bear awake. Spotting the barking dog, the panicked bear scrambled to his feet and ran away as fast as he could.
