The Tallest Surprise

Everett the Elephant always believed he was the tallest animal in the whole forest. He felt like a giant as he marched through the trees.

But one day, he bumped into a Giraffe.

The Giraffe had legs like tall stilts and a neck that reached all the way up to the treetops! Everett looked up... and up... and up. He realized the Giraffe stood much taller than he did.

"Oh my!" Everett whispered to himself. "I guess I’m not the tallest one here after all!"

Feeling a little bashful about his mistake, Everett quickly waddled away before anyone could see him standing next to his much taller friend!
